Motorola recently launched the Edge 30 Pro globally, which succeeds the previously launched Edge 20 Pro last year. The sale will start on 4th March 2022 at 12 PM and will be going LIVE on Flipkart which has been the long eCommerce launchpad for all the earlier Motorola phones. The phone specifications look quite promising and significant improvement can be seen from its predecessors.

The phone is powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SOC coupled with 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM with a 2GB RAM boost for enhanced performance, as claimed by the company. The screen is a 6.7 inch, 10 bit AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate. Gorilla glass protection is provided for both front and back panel.

The internal storage of the phone is 128GB, and cannot be increased via MicroSD card as seen in almost all the flagships nowadays. The SIM card slot supports two Nano SIMs.

It houses a triple-lens at the back with a 50 MP primary camera with OIC, 50 MP ultra-wide and macro, and a 2 MP depth camera. The front camera is a whopping 60 MP which supports 4K video recording. It has a 4800 mAh battery and the company packs a 68W fast charger out of the box which is more than enough to power the flagship at hand. It’s good to see the company listening to its customer base.

Other key features on the phone include Wireless charging, Stereo Speakers, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, and is IP52 rated which makes the phone splash resistant. All 13 bands of 5G are supported.

One of the exclusive things from Motorola is that it provides a pure stock android experience with no Adware or any such applications, making it much more secure and fun and the latest flagship is no exception. It runs on Android 12 out of the box, and the company has promised updates to Android 13 and 14 with the phone and three years of security updates.

The price is revealed to be Rs. 49,999, and one can get an instant discount of Rs. 5000 by using an SBI credit card taking the price down to Rs. 44,999. No Cost EMIs are also available for selected Cards.
