Vodafone Idea has discontinued its popular postpaid Rs 649 iPhone Forever plan, which was launched back in February 2019. A few weeks back, the company also removed the Netflix subscription benefits for the above.
The company, however, did not reveal the reason behind removing the plan. Currently, the offerings include the three postpaid plans including Rs 399, Rs 499 and Rs 999.
The Rs 399 postpaid plan offers unlimited calling to all networks, 40GB monthly data and the user can also carry forward 200 GB data to the next billing cycle. Vodafone also offers 150GB extra data for a period of six months. This offer is only available to new customers. As per the reports, this plan also comes with other free benefits worth Rs 2,497.
The Rs 499 postpaid plan offers unlimited voice calling with 75GB monthly data with the option of carrying forward 200 GB data in the next billing cycle. It also offers 100 SMSes per day and Amazon Prime membership for a year worth Rs 999.
Rs 999 as REDX plan from Vodafone in addition to unlimited data with superior data speeds, premium customer service, airport lounges access, etc. offers Netflix subscription for 12 months, Amazon Prime for one year, ZEE5 and Vodafone Play. It also includes special deals on Samsung devices and discounted ISD calls to USA & Canada at just 50p/min.
However, Idea customers will get the basic Rs 999 plan without any benefits like Netflix subscription, discounted international roaming packs and so on.
