The much-awaited successor to highly successful POCO F1 is confirmed in making by the company. The company is yet to launch a follow-up to the POCO F1 and the brand does not consider the POCO F2 Pro, launched last year as a true successor.
Manmohan Chandolu, General Manager, POCO India revealed that a new POCO F-series phone is in the works as a reply to a question on the POCO F2 launch in the YouTube “ask me anything” session. Additionally, when asked how difficult it will be to recreate the same magic today as the POCO F1, Mr. Manhonam said that it will indeed be very difficult.
Poco F2 can see the launch happening this year. Although the specification are not revealed, the smartphone might feature the Snapdragon 870 chipset and have a higher pricing than F1 which was launched with the starting price tag of 20,999 and if the company launches it under 25,000, there is a high chance that the successor to F1 may script the same success story.
