Amidst Coronavirus crisis, Reliance Jio launches new 'Work from home' annual prepaid plans for Rs 2,399 with 2GB daily data.

Jio launches new annual plans for its users, priced at 2,399 with daily 2GB data, claiming to ease work from home conditions.

The new plan also offers unlimited voice calls and SMS and provides validity of 365 days. Including the new plan, Jio is now offering two annual plans, the one earlier capped at Rs. 2,121 offering 1.5GB data per day alongside unlimited voice and SMS messages for 336 days remains as it is.

In addition to the Rs. 2,399 prepaid plan, Jio also introduced the Rs. 151, Rs. 201, and Rs. 251 add-on data packs. The Rs. 151 pack offers 30GB additional high-speed data, whereas Rs. 201 pack and Rs 251 pack offers 40GB high-speed data and 50GB high-speed data respectively.

The add-on packs don't have their native validity and will last the existing base plan's validity.

Comparatively, Airtel and Vodafone also offers annual plan where Airtel is capped at Rs. 2,398 and Vodafone’s at Rs. 2,399. Both provide similar benefits of 1.5GB of daily data along with unlimited voice calling and 100 daily complimentary SMSes.
